惑星探査, 宇宙空間物理学, アストロバイオロジー

研究内容

人工衛星を用いた惑星大気・プラズマの観測的研究、および搭載用の観測装置の開発を行っている。磁場を持つ惑星(地球・木星など)の近傍で起きているプラズマの加速現象や、弱磁場惑星(火星・金星など)からの大気散逸現象について、主に遠隔観測手法を用いてアプローチしている。将来的には惑星探査や太陽系外探査に向けた技術確立を目指す。
